WHO WE ARE
CAWV is a 501c3 nonprofit organization serving students with all types of disabilities.  Founded in 1973, CAWV has been serving students in the valley out of Snowshoe Resort.  Starting at Canaan Valley Resort and moving to Timberline Resort, we are now located at both downhill resorts in Canaan Valley.  Getting folk out on the snow is our business.

Cost: $75/half day - Includes instruction, rental equipment, & lift ticket for duration of lesson
Hours: Sunday - Saturday
9:30am - 12:00pm
1:00pm - 3:30pm
Restrictions: Due to safety reasons, all participants must meet the following guidelines in order to participate:
Sit ski program weight limit: 200 lbs
Minimum Age: 4 years old
Physical Requirements: participants need to be able to hold their head upright while going through rough terrain, and breathe on their own without the use of special equipment
We strongly recommended that participants discuss enrolment in our program with their doctor to ensure that it is appropriate for their health
Parking: Adaptive Lesson parking is located near the Adaptive Building for easy access to the snow.​
Reservations: Pre-registration is required and at least 48 hours before the lesson. Participant reservations are determined by equipment and instructor availability. Email us today to plan your next ski!
